Your Counselor
Clinically trained. Faith-rooted. Genuinely present.
Licensed Counselor
LCMHC · MACC
I didn't come to counseling from a textbook. I came to it through years of sitting with people in the hardest moments of their lives — through addiction, faith crises, grief, trauma, and the quiet weight of feeling stuck. That work shaped the way I practice.
My approach is direct but compassionate. I believe healing requires honesty, and I won't just tell you what you want to hear. At the same time, I take seriously that every person carries a different story — and my job is to help you understand and rewrite yours, not impose a formula on it.
Faith is central to who I am and how I counsel. My MACC from Gordon-Conwell gives me a rigorous theological foundation, and my clinical training gives me the tools to meet people where they are — whether that's deep in their faith or questioning everything about it. You don't have to be a Christian to work with me. You just have to be willing to show up.
Outside the office, I am passionate about the intersection of psychology and theology — which is also the subject of the writing I do. I believe the church and the counseling room have more to offer each other than either often realizes.
Clinical Approach
You are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you access what you already carry — clarity, strength, and the capacity for change.
For clients who want it, faith is woven naturally into the work. Scripture, prayer, and spiritual reflection are tools — not requirements.
I draw from CBT, Solution-Focused, and motivational approaches — proven methods grounded in research and adapted to your unique story.
