Do you take insurance?

No. Joyful Life Counseling is private pay only. Sessions are $150, with a sliding scale available for those who qualify. Payment is accepted via Cash, Check, or Zelle.

Do I have to be a Christian to work with you?

No. While faith is central to who I am and how I practice, you don't need to share my beliefs to work with me. What matters most is that you're open to an honest conversation.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. Secure telehealth sessions are available for anyone living in North Carolina. In-person sessions are also available at my Charlotte office.

What if I've been hurt by the church?

This is a safe place for that conversation. You won't be told how to feel about God, the church, or your faith. Your experience will be respected and taken seriously.

How long does therapy take?

It depends entirely on your goals and what you're working through. Some people find significant relief in a few months; others benefit from longer-term work. We'll talk about this together.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before beginning services. Ask during your consultation and I'll provide one.
